Multi--City Tour Highlights New Microsoft Technologies and Strategies For
Comprehensive Live Content Archiving and Migration

Santa Clara, Calif. – January 25, 2006 – Mimosa Systems™, a leader in unified information management solutions for enterprise content, today announced a multi-city seminar series, in conjunction with Microsoft Corp., that will present best practices designed to plan and implement a smooth and rapid migration to recently-announced, Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.  The seminar series complements and parallels Mimosa’s Platinum sponsorship at the multi-city Microsoft “Ready for a New Day” launch events for Windows Vista, Microsoft Office and Exchange Server 2007 and subsequent Premier sponsorship of the Exchange Server 2007 specific launch events.

The seminar series, “Optimizing Exchange 2007: Best Practices for Managing Compliance, Storage & Transition for Exchange Server,” features renowned Microsoft Exchange Server expert Lee Benjamin, “The Exchange Guy.”  Benjamin will discuss how to migrate to Exchange Server 2007, as well as insights on impacts to regulatory compliance.  Other key speakers will include Microsoft technical experts delivering best practices information about Exchange Server 2007, and archiving expert and Mimosa VP of Product Marketing, Mike Ivanov, who will discuss live content archiving and unified email management with Mimosa NearPoint next-generation unified information management software solutions.

• Optimizing Exchange Server 2007: Live Contact Archiving for Compliance, Discovery and Storage.  Mike Ivanov, vice president of product marketing at Mimosa Systems will discuss how to optimize your investment in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 with Mimosa NearPoint’s Live Content Archive – a continuously-updated repository of email and enterprise content.
• Unified Email Data Management: eDiscovery, Archival, Recovery & Storage Management.  A demonstration by Ivanov about how NearPoint can integrate eDiscovery, recovery and storage management in a single solution.
• Solutions Case Study.  Discover how NearPoint manages the migration process to Exchange Server 2007, and is used by customers to handle information archiving, recovery and storage management.  Case studies will include examples from a variety of industries and sizes.

The Optimizing Exchange Server 2007: Best Practices for Managing Compliance, Storage & Transition for Exchange Server seminar series will be visiting Microsoft offices in five cities on the below-listed dates.  Each will begin at 9:00 am and will conclude at 12:30 pm (registration begins at 8:30 am).
