Building upon the rich NearPoint information management platform, version 2.0 of Mimosa NearPoint for Microsoft Exchange Server introduces two new options: the NearPoint eDiscovery Option and the NearPoint Compliance Storage Option. The NearPoint eDiscovery Option adds powerful discovery capabilities to dramatically improve the cost and time associated with performing complex email discoveries by allowing for workflow and collaboration across multiple investigators. NearPoint eDiscovery is significantly superior to first generation legal discovery solutions in the completeness of information and metadata captured, unparalleled scalability and preservation of native message formats. T he new NearPoint Compliance Storage Option takes protection one step further with fully integrated support for “tamperproof” media such as Content Addressable Storage (CAS) and Write Once Read Many (WORM) to ensure record level retention and disposition of email and attachments for even the most stringent regulations.

- Complete Conversation Thread and Message History: NearPoint’s full message fidelity provides a total view of email information for the reconstruction of complex conversation threads and user behavior for litigation support and investigations.
- Discovery Workgroup Collaboration: The NearPoint eDiscovery Option provides discovery teams with a workflow to search, hold, review, tag and export results, and supports efficient collaboration by enabling sharing of results.
- Compliance Support for SEC Rule 17a-4: NearPoint now supports EMC® Centera™ immutable storage devices with complete integration and seamless operation.
