Senior Professional Services Consultant
This position requires an employee with several years of experience in planning, managing and implementing projects as well as with MS-Exchange and MS-Windows Server products. They must have a multifaceted background with a mix of technical and business knowledge. They must also be able to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization. The Senior Professional Services Consultant reports directly to the VP Services and will work closely with the Services Business Development Manager, Sales, Support, and Engineering.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Planning, Deployment and Project management of Mimosa’s NearPoint product at new or existing customers, including:
- Project planning and management
- Working with Mimosa’s Service partners
- Implementation (on-site or remotely)
- Providing consulting related to Mimosa’s product line
- Representing Mimosa in front of high-level executives
- Identifying new consulting opportunities
- The ability to listen, comprehend and communicate on the fly
- Proactively staying up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Mimosa’s products and the underlying technologies
- Recognizing and escalating difficult technical / business issues within Sales, Customer Support, and Engineering
Required Skills
- Several years experience in Professional Services and Project Management
- Several years technical experience with computer software, including the installation and configuration of Windows programs
- Several years technical experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
- Solid expertise in Windows Servers technology such as networking, troubleshooting, installation and configuration of software
- Good technical knowledge of MS SQL
- Several years experience providing project management, training, and direct support to customers and partners
- Ability to communicate effectively on all levels
- Highly self-motivated and independent
- Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills
Additional (Desired) Skills
- Experience working with large service organizations
- Experience in information management and data management
Location
Preferred location is Mimosa’s company headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.
Travel
About 50% travel is required
