Mimosa Systems Developer Network (MDN) members can leverage a comprehensive software developer kit (SDK) for the award-winning Mimosa NearPoint™ next generation archiving platform. For hundreds of customers around the world, NearPoint addresses critical requirements for email archiving, file system archiving, SharePoint archiving and recovery, eDiscovery, content monitoring, regulatory compliance, business continuity, and storage optimization in an easy-to-use, unified solution.
The SDK, which is freely and openly available, allows customers, partners, and developers to extend the capabilities of NearPoint to a broader set of content sources for archiving, such as content stored on back-up tapes. The SDK then also enables members to access archived content from other enterprise applications, such as eDiscovery, records management, security management, traditional customer relationship management, and business intelligence solutions.
The SDK contains a set of comprehensive APIs and sample applications for partners to utilize and/or augment the NearPoint platform to drive business value for customers. The SDK supports several key workloads for third-party developers, including:
