Mimosa gets “It”
This is the answer to the question I am most often asked. In my first article for Mimosa, I felt it appropriate to answer this question first. Why have I left my Exchange consulting business and joined Mimosa? I made the move because Mimosa gets “it”.
First, they have an Archiving solution that gets “it”. This is not a shotgun-approach of targeted, after-the-fact journaling but a total capture of the business intelligence that is so vital to organizations. This is a technology that requires no change to your Exchange Servers and no increase to its load. Moreover, the captured data is ideal for Disaster Recovery so administrators can sleep at night knowing they are both compliant and protected.
Secondly, Mimosa understands talent and has built a pool of industry experts from the Gartner Group, Hitachi and other storage, messaging and archiving vendors. Besides me, Mimosa has hired three other Microsoft Exchange MVPs so I find myself completely surrounded by both peers and mentors.
Last and most important is the success of Mimosa. The track record of the management team and the continued success of NearPoint (just wait until you see the next version) is the recipe I have been looking for.
